This Saturday marks the 15th annual Wagapalooza event on St. John. The island-style dog show is not to be missed, with food, friends, and furry ones filling the ball field and sharing the love. Many will enter the contest with their pup pal in the hopes of taking home the blue ribbon in such categories as Most Look Alike, Best Dancer, Best Costume and more.
Hot and cold food and beverages, musical entertainment, and a bounce house for the kiddos, Wagapalooza is one of the best evenings of the year. All proceeds benefit St. John’s only animal shelter, the no-kill Animal Care Center, located across from the library in Cruz Bay. So many dogs and cats need adoption, the shelter coordinates many off-island adoptions. Looking for a laid back coconut retriever? Checkout the ACC webpage for up-to-date pets and find your next love! http://www.stjohnanimalcarecenter.com. Shelter Manager, Ryan, and the rest of the amazing staff and volunteers are available to make that a reality.
