St. John is kicking up her heels today for the start of the first Love City Country Music Festival on St. John. The 3-day event begins today with a launch party at Soggy Dollar on White Bay in Jost Van Dyke, and continues for the next two days on St. John with live concerts in the Winston Wells Ballfield in Cruz Bay.
The main stage on Friday night showcases Jesse Taylor at 6pm, followed by the Hit Makers & Rum Chasers (from the Nashville Songwriter’s Showcase), Dean Alexander, and Loving Mary. The following day the music starts at 2:30 with Kaitlyn Weathers, followed by the Wheeland Brothers at 3:30pm, Sunny Sweeney at 5:00pm, Dallas Smith at 7:00pm, Pat Green at 9pm and headliner Jerrod Niemann at 10:30pm. Satellite stages will be jamming around town during the festival’s off hours. Friday hear Houston Deese at Woody’s from 3-6pm and Levi Lowrey, Travis Meadows & Whiskey Jack at Across the Street late night until 1:30am. The next day both venues will have live musicians again, lineup TBA. I’m shakin’ off the dust from my cowboy hat and hittin’ the town tonight!
